Match-by-Match Clash in Italy Results
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER — Undisputed WWE Championship
Result: Cody Rhodes retains the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The opener delivered the kind of hard-hitting exchange these two promised, with GUNTHER’s chops met by Rhodes’ comeback flurries. Rhodes countered out of trouble and landed the Cross Rhodes to score the pin. The Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER result came with a major asterisk: replays suggested GUNTHER’s foot was on or grazing the bottom rope during the three-count, and GUNTHER made his displeasure clear after the bell — a finish that feels designed to keep this feud alive.

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
Result: Brock Lesnar defeats Oba Femi.
Lesnar came out with something to prove and attacked before the bell, hitting four consecutive F-5s in the opening minute — and Femi kicked out of every one. The Ruler then rose like a zombie, shrugging off the barrage to fire back with running uppercuts in the corner and a thunderous back suplex toss. Femi went for the Fall From Grace, but Lesnar slipped over and hit one final F-5 to score the pin.
In between, the match spilled outside with both men going through the announce table — Lesnar countered a Chokeslam with an F-5 through it — and Femi survived a kimura in the middle of the ring by standing up and physically slamming his way out. A fifth F-5 inside the ring still could not finish him before the sixth finally did. Lesnar wins, but Femi’s resilience was the real story. With the series now tied at 1-1, a rubber match at SummerSlam feels inevitable.

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca — WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Result: Sol Ruca defeats Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. NEW CHAMPION.
The biggest upset of the night. Ruca arrived in Turin with Becky Lynch claiming on social media that she was not medically cleared — and then proceeded to tear the house down in a 14-minute match that had the Italian crowd firmly on her side.
Lynch controlled stretches of the match with her experience, hitting a superplex after deliberately knocking Ruca off the top rope into the ropes. Lynch landed the Manhandle Slam, but Ruca kicked out. Ruca then answered with a Manhandle Slam of her own, and Lynch kicked out too. When Lynch went for another Manhandle Slam, Ruca reversed it into the Sol Snatcher and scored the pin to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
For Ruca, it is her first title on the main roster. For Lynch, her controversial tactics throughout the build — and during the match itself — ultimately cost her the championship.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill — WWE Women’s Championship
Result: Rhea Ripley retains the WWE Women’s Championship.
Ripley and Cargill took their WrestleMania 42 rematch to another level in Turin. Cargill dominated early, displaying her improved in-ring skill set, and the crowd actually booed the challenger as she broke down the champion. Ripley fought from behind for much of the contest, and when she finally turned the tide, “This is awesome” chants rang out through the Inalpi Arena. B-Fab and Michin came to ringside to provide a distraction, but it was not enough — Ripley hit the Riptide for the pin.
Ripley is now 2-0 against Cargill in singles competition. While Cargill’s momentum and improved ring work suggest this rivalry is not over, Ripley has now answered every challenge thrown at her since WrestleMania 42.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu — WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Tribal Combat)
Result: Roman Reigns retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Fatu must now acknowledge Reigns.
The main event delivered the brutal, personal war it promised. Fatu walked to the ring like a man possessed, playing heel, while Reigns received a hero’s welcome from the Turin crowd — who chanted in Italian for The Tribal Chief before switching to the familiar “Roman Reigns” rhythm. Fatu was confirmed 100% healthy despite pre-show injury speculation, and the match opened at a slow burn before Fatu exploded with a suicide dive.
The Tribal Combat spilled into the crowd, both men using the steel steps as weapons. Reigns threw the steps directly into Fatu’s face. A Superman Punch from Reigns got only two. Fatu answered with a superkick and locked in the Tongan Death Grip. Reigns escaped, and the match eventually reached its closing stretch with Reigns ramming Fatu repeatedly into an exposed turnbuckle. A Spear through the ringside table followed — yet Fatu still got to his feet. A final Spear inside the ring ended it, and Reigns got the pin.
Post-match: Solo Sikoa and The MFTs made a shocking appearance at ringside, with Reigns staring them down and vowing “they’re next” — signalling the next chapter of the Roman Reigns story. Fatu, per the Tribal Combat stipulation, was forced to acknowledge Reigns and join the Bloodline.

Clash in Italy Highlights
The biggest moments from WWE’s first Premium Live Event in Italy:
- Sol Ruca makes history. In the night’s biggest upset, Sol Ruca defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship — her first title on the main roster. Lynch’s attempt to claim Ruca was not medically cleared backfired spectacularly, and the Manhandle Slam reversal into the Sol Snatcher gave Turin one of the loudest moments of the night.
- Controversial opener. Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER kicked off the show on ESPN in a match the crowd in Turin embraced fully. Rhodes hit the Cross Rhodes for the pin, but replays showed GUNTHER’s foot grazing the bottom rope. GUNTHER protested loudly. The feud is far from finished.
- Lesnar and Femi go to war. Lesnar hit six F-5s across the match, with Femi kicking out of the first four in a jaw-dropping sequence. The match went through the announce table and involved a kimura attempt before the sixth F-5 finally ended it. The series is now 1-1 and a third chapter looks certain.
- Ripley survives B-Fab and Michin. Despite interference from Jade Cargill’s allies, Rhea Ripley put Cargill away with the Riptide in what was widely called an improvement on their WrestleMania 42 match. Ripley goes 2-0 in the rivalry.
- Fatu must acknowledge Reigns. A brutal Tribal Combat main event ended with Roman Reigns surviving everything Fatu threw at him — including a Tongan Death Grip and a moonsault attempt — to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Per the stipulation, Fatu was forced to acknowledge Reigns as Tribal Chief and join the Bloodline. But the post-match appearance of Solo Sikoa and The MFTs, with Reigns vowing “they’re next,” set the table for the summer.
- First PLE in Italy. A packed Inalpi Arena in Turin delivered one of the most passionate European crowds in recent WWE memory, the fourth event in the Clash series after Clash in Paris in 2025.
