The FIFA World Cup 2026 squads deadline is June 2, but nations have been rolling out their picks throughout May. All 48 teams must name between 23 and 26 players — including three goalkeepers — with injured players eligible for replacement from the provisional list up to 24 hours before a team’s first match.

According to the official FIFA website, 104 matches will be played across 16 host cities, with the opener on June 11 and the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
