Only Chad Gable vs. JD McDonagh has been officially confirmed as a match. The rest of the WWE Raw June 29 2026 card will fill in as the show progresses. CM Punk is advertised on WWE.com but is reportedly not expected until July 6 in Chicago.
Chad Gable vs. JD McDonagh
The only officially confirmed match on the Raw June 29 match card. The setup: on Raw London last week, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh confronted Gable. Gable floated the idea of facing Dirty Dom. Dom wasn’t interested — he told Gable to go through McDonagh first. GM Adam Pearce made it official. McDonagh was still dazed from Danhausen’s electrocution curse when the match was signed.
Gable has been building momentum since his debut on Raw Paris June 8. A win over a Judgment Day member in Atlantic City would push him further up the card and closer to an Intercontinental Championship programme, which all signs point toward for SummerSlam.
WWE Raw Tonight: Expected Segments and Matches
Roman Reigns Returns — Bloodline Fallout
The biggest confirmed segment on WWE Raw tonight and the centrepiece of the Night of Champions fallout. Roman Reigns returns to Monday Night Raw for the first time since the Ula Fala ceremony on June 15. He had a directive for Jey Uso going into Night of Champions — win the King of the Ring, then win the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, and bring it home to the Bloodline. Jey lost the final to Oba Femi. Roman Reigns will be in Atlantic City tonight, and Jey Uso’s failure will be at the centre of whatever happens.
The Bloodline picture has never been more complicated. Jacob Fatu is loyal to Reigns but answers no one else. Solo Sikoa is operating alone after the MFTs disbanded. Tama and Talla Tonga walked. Tonight is where Reigns begins recalibrating.
Oba Femi Declares His SummerSlam Opponent
As King of the Ring 2026, Oba Femi earned the right to choose his World Title shot at SummerSlam. He can face Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship or Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. WWE has been building Femi as an unstoppable force for months, and all signs point to him going after Reigns — the biggest possible match for his profile. Sami Zayn — First Raw Appearance as Undisputed WWE Champion
Sami Zayn pinned Cody Rhodes in Riyadh to become the Undisputed WWE Champion for the first time in his career. He is a SmackDown superstar and will celebrate on SmackDown July 3 — but with tonight’s show being a double taping in Atlantic City, expect Zayn to appear. Cody Rhodes will also be in the building and will need to address the loss. Gunther, who confronted SmackDown GM Nick Aldis after NOC and accused him of favouritism, has a new feud simmering. Rollins pinned Bron Breakker in a brutal steel cage match at Night of Champions and paid respect to him post-match. The Vision is done. Rollins’ stated goal has been a world title shot at SummerSlam, but with Oba Femi likely taking the Reigns match and Zayn holding the other title, his path is unclear. Rollins’ Raw Atlantic City appearance will start to define what the next chapter looks like.
Bron Breakker’s Response
Breakker suffered one of the most decisive losses of his main roster run at Night of Champions. How he responds — frustration, reinvention, or immediate rematch demand — is one of the more important developments for Monday Night Raw heading into SummerSlam season.
Street Profits Celebrate as World Tag Team Champions
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins won the World Tag Team Championship on Raw London June 22, defeating The Vision. Their first full Raw Atlantic City appearance as champions is expected tonight. The War Raiders remain a lurking threat after challenging Damian Priest and R-Truth on SmackDown June 26 for a winner-takes-all title match — that Raw-vs-SmackDown title picture will need addressing.
Lyra Valkyria and Bayley Continue
Valkyria’s heel turn on Bayley at Raw London last week had no explanation attached to it. Both refused to comment. Tonight in Atlantic City is where this story gets its next chapter, with both women needing to respond publicly.
