Raw Results May 18 2026: Full Segment-By-Segment Breakdown
Opening Segment — Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, The Usos
Roman Reigns arrived at the building on time — for the second week in a row — and was met immediately by Adam Pearce, who insisted Fatu should have already been fired. Before Reigns could respond, Jacob Fatu’s music hit, stunning both men. Fatu walked out and told Reigns to “bring out his punk ass.”
Reigns sent Jimmy and Jey Uso out first. Jimmy tried to talk Fatu down, reminding him of his obligations to the family and warning: “Are we back in prison?” Jey tried to swing a chair — Fatu shrugged off the shot and put Jey in the Tongan Death Grip. When Jimmy tried to intervene, Fatu grabbed him too. Roman’s music hit.
Reigns and Fatu traded punches. Reigns loaded up a Superman Punch — but Fatu caught him mid-air in the Tongan Death Grip and Reigns began to fade. It took a Jey superkick, a second superkick, and a spear to finally break the hold. Jimmy added a frog splash and the Usos hit a 1D on Fatu. With Fatu tied in the ropes and defenceless, Reigns delivered repeated Superman Punches and the Usos added double superkicks. Reigns finished with a spear.
As Reigns and the Usos walked up the ramp, Adam Pearce tried to get a word in — Reigns put a hand in his face and shut him down. From inside the ring, Fatu grabbed a mic and said two words: “Tribal Combat.”
Reigns looked back toward the ring and accepted on the spot.
Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin. The stipulation — new to WWE — is expected to function as a no-disqualification, no-countout, anything-goes environment rooted in Samoan warrior tradition, though full rules were not explained on air.
Jimmy and Jey Uso were later interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Jey said Tribal Combat is “sacred combat between two families and blood” and described it as capable of getting “crazy and brutal.” LA Knight then approached the Usos backstage and confronted them, arguing they were acting no better than The Vision by shutting others out. Jimmy and Jey told him not now — leaving the tension unresolved.

Jimmy Uso confronted Fatu backstage, telling him he should have acknowledged Reigns at Backlash and warning that he’s “close to being fired.” Jimmy asked if Fatu wants to go back to prison — a reference to Fatu’s real-life past. Fatu’s response was not shown in full, but the segment made it clear that the Usos are caught between loyalty to Reigns and respect for Fatu heading into Turin.
This is the second world championship match confirmed for Clash in Italy, alongside Cody Rhodes vs Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Turin event now has two main-event-calibre championship matches on the same card.
Joe Hendry In Concert — “Fire Logan Paul” Continues
Hendry performed his “Fire Logan Paul” song for the third consecutive week, asking the Greensboro crowd if Austin Theory has what it takes to beat Bron Breakker. Theory interrupted and the two had a verbal exchange. The segment continues to build Hendry as one of Raw’s most over babyfaces while keeping the Breakker-Vision storyline in focus ahead of the Street Profits’ World Tag Team Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Finn Bálor def. JD McDonagh — Street Fight
The former Judgment Day stablemates tore each other apart in a violent Street Fight that spilled through the crowd and featured kendo sticks, chairs, tables, and trash cans. JD McDonagh delivered multiple moonsaults and a superplex through a table, but could not put Bálor away. Dominik Mysterio interfered late in the match — but it backfired when Bálor pulled McDonagh into the path of Dom’s 619 attempt, causing Mysterio to accidentally wipe out his own ally. Bálor capitalised by putting a trash can over McDonagh, hitting the running dropkick, and finishing with the Coup de Grâce for the pinfall victory. This was easily the match of the night and continues the slow-burn dissolution of Judgment Day, with Bálor now firmly positioned against Mysterio heading toward the AAA Mega Championship picture.

Seth Rollins Promo — Main Event Challenge Issued
Rollins stated he had not wrestled on Raw in nearly nine months and that tonight was the night that changed. He challenged any Vision member, calling out Bron Breakker specifically — “A nepo baby who can’t hack it.” Backstage, Breakker demanded Heyman make the match. Heyman declined, booking Austin Theory instead, telling Breakker he had a different play in mind. Breakker was furious.
Later backstage, LA Knight confronted Rollins before his match, making clear: “The enemy of my enemy is not my friend.” Knight acknowledged he respected Rollins going it alone, but said he would not be providing backup.
Becky Lynch vs Sol Ruca — Set For Saturday Night’s Main Event
Sol Ruca interrupted Becky Lynch’s dismissive comments about her NXT readiness by walking to the ring and demanding a match right there. Lynch declined a Raw match but proposed they face off at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 — with one major caveat: it will NOT be a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match. Lynch told Ruca she hadn’t earned a title shot and called herself “not a starmaker, but a starbreaker.” Ruca accepted.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Paige & Brie Bella (c) def. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez
Scream Mode successfully retained the Women’s Tag Team Championships in their first title defence since WrestleMania 42. The finish came when Roxanne Perez attempted to use the title belts as a weapon — but Brie Bella caught her with a roll-up for the three count. After the match, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan attacked the champions, but Bayley and Lyra Valkyria ran down to make the save, clearing the ring. Michael Cole then confirmed that Paige and Brie Bella will defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships again at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 against Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
Brock Lesnar Returns — “The Beast Has NOT Retired”
The biggest surprise of the night. Despite leaving his boots and gloves in the ring after losing to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 — a moment widely interpreted as a retirement — Brock Lesnar returned to Raw in Greensboro and made it clear that he has not retired from professional wrestling. Lesnar’s profile had been moved to the WWE Alumni section on WWE.com earlier this month, making the return even more shocking. The segment immediately raises questions about what’s next for The Beast Incarnate — with SummerSlam taking place in his hometown of Minneapolis this August, the logical assumption is that Lesnar is building toward a final run culminating there. Whether he targets Oba Femi for a rematch or enters a new programme entirely remains to be seen.
Six-Man Tornado Tag: El Grande Americano & Los Americanos def. Original Grande Americano & Los Americanos Hermanos
A chaotic all-six-men-legal match with dives, German suplexes, moonsaults, and metal plates hidden in masks. The finish came after OG Grande Americano was sent into the timekeeper’s area; Bravo hit a diving headbutt and Grande followed with a running headbutt for the three count.
Winners: El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano & Bravo Americano
The result continues the build toward the Mask vs Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30.

Ethan Page Interview With Michael Cole
Ethan Page handed Michael Cole an envelope filled with pre-written questions designed to make himself look good ahead of his Intercontinental Championship match against Penta at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cole played along briefly before pushing back, telling Page that his ego would cost him on Saturday. Page responded by declaring he’d be the first person to put fear into Penta and would walk out as champion.
Seth Rollins vs Austin Theory — Main Event
Seth Rollins returned to Raw in-ring action for the first time in nearly nine months. Heyman’s decision to send Theory rather than Breakker set up the match — with Bron watching from backstage.
(Full match result to be confirmed — update as available.)
LA Knight Confronts The Usos
LA Knight approached Jimmy and Jey Uso backstage, questioning why they were acting no better than The Vision by shutting people out. Knight reminded them that the three of them had teamed up against The Vision before and said he would do what he had to do regardless. The Usos told Knight “not now,” leaving the tension between the group unresolved heading into SNME.
Brock Lesnar Returns — Destroys Oba Femi, Clash In Italy Rematch Signed
The night’s biggest moment. As Oba Femi came out for his Week 4 open challenge and struck his ring pose, a mystery attacker blindsided him from behind — it was Brock Lesnar. The Beast delivered multiple F-5s (reports vary between three and four), leaving Femi crumpled on the mat, and walked out without a word.
After the commercial break, Adam Pearce was shown storming backstage with referees and producers, furious — he had already filed Lesnar’s official retirement paperwork. He walked into his office to find Paul Heyman waiting. Heyman acknowledged the retirement paperwork, then produced a contract already signed by Lesnar — for a rematch against Oba Femi at Clash in Italy on May 31. Heyman called it “the biggest rematch in history” and told Pearce all he needed was Femi’s signature.
The retirement at WrestleMania 42 — where Lesnar left his boots and gloves in the ring after being beaten by Femi — was a worked storyline. Lesnar’s return instantly becomes the most shocking moment on Raw since WrestleMania season.

Seth Rollins def. Austin Theory — Main Event
Rollins returned to Raw in-ring action for the first time in close to nine months. He hit a dive onto Theory and Logan Paul before the bell. He hunted for the Stomp three times and failed each. Theory targeted Rollins’ foot, ramming it into the ring post to turn the tide — Logan Paul added interference from outside. Rollins fought back from underneath, selling the ankle injury while landing his usual offence.
In the finish, Heyman slid brass knuckles to Theory. Logan distracted the referee. Rollins countered — knocked Paul off the apron, grabbed the knuckles himself, then had them pulled away when Paul alerted the referee. Rollins landed a superkick and countered Theory’s roll-up attempt with a Pedigree for the pinfall.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Post-match: Logan Paul attacked Rollins. Angelo Dawkins ran out and traded punches. Theory jumped Dawkins two-on-one with Paul. Montez Ford made the save — enzuigiri to Paul, flip tope con giro to the floor onto Theory and Paul. Ford told Dawkins to be careful around Rollins. Bron Breakker then charged in and speared Ford when Ford pushed Dawkins out of the way, then hit Dawkins with a double knee gutbuster. Rollins attacked Breakker from behind — Breakker hit a Spear and kipped up. The Vision swarmed; they threw Rollins out of the ring. Breakker grabbed the top half of the steel steps and nearly used them on Rollins before Adam Pearce and producers flooded ringside to halt it. Raw ended with Breakker standing tall over Rollins — setting up what appears to be Rollins vs Breakker at Clash in Italy.
